Larch

Even though it belongs to the family of conifers, it is a deciduous tree that loses its needles in autumn. It can reach a height of 165 ft and grows predominantly in the northern hemisphere. It is an important forest tree especially in Russia, the United States and Canada.

 

 

Since its timber is inherently stable and wheather-resistant, it is used for both outdoor and indoor purposes, like doors, frames and roofs.
